Hawaii Electrical Source was founded back in 2013 by Rodney and Stephanie Biven, built upon the principles of hard work, dedication, and commitment. But even when HES opened its doors, our founder Rodney Biven had already been in the construction industry since 1988, and built an impressive array of professional licenses and experience.

The job was to upgrade the original electric panel on a 50 year old house, look for grounding problems, and split up an overloaded circuit. Rodney responded extremely quickly to my request for estimate, he offered good suggestions as solutions and came to work on a Sunday. Rodney and his sons were courteous and worked very efficiently. The panel was upgraded to be all new with plenty of spares for future appliances, some outlets were upgraded to GFCI for safety and the overloaded circuit split apart to make things safer. The job was finished in 3 hours and the project from estimate to completion was 4 days. I will definitely be using Hawaii Electrical Source in the future.

I bought a new ceiling fan at Home Depot and asked for help with installation. The next day I got a call from HES and set an appointment for the following Saturday for a noon to 1400 show time. The service person call me and told me his estimate time to arrive was 1230. He arrived at that time and was clean cut and courteous. He got to work removing the old fan, assembling the new one and completed the installation in a jiffy. I am satisfied with HES and with my new ceiling fan!
